A little confused

Question Posted Friday December 23 2005, 2:53 am

I know everybody sees this question 5000 times a day but, I'm not sure if I'm reading her right. This girl, let's say "Hermione Granger", and I have been out a couple of times and I really like her. But Hermione always seems to break dates. She says she feels bad about it, but does it anyway. When I asked her if she'd like to go out with me, she said she would, but she would be usually busy the night I asked and I see very little of Hermione anymore. She acted like she liked me, but girls never say what they mean. I say actions speak louder than words, but I wanted y'all's opinion:What should I do here? As I read the notes, they want me to add my age:19 and my gender should be self explanatory.

hey! well some girls like myself make plans in advance. maybe you should try if you wanna go out say saturday, then ask her like the wednesday before or something. try this and see if it works, chances are she wouldn't have made plans yet. give her a chance a couple of times trying this and see how it goes

Lmfao Hermione Granger..isn't that that chick from Harry Potter? Lol..that's funny..Anyways

If she was really interested in you, you know she wouldn't do that. Maybe you guys should just be friends for now & slow things down. Don't put too much effort into it if she's not willing to make it work either. Move on. Find someone better.

I think that she is feeling insecure about herself or scared... or the blatent wal-mart style answer or "she hates you"

Insecure: She may think that she is a bad gf after a breakup and she might not think she's good enough for you..

Scared: She might be scared of starting a new relationship and being hurt again

Bitch: She may just be a bitch and say she'll go out with you and break off dates when she really doesn't want to go out with you in the first place. In this case.. ask her what day is good for HER so she can't have any excuse to break off dates.

Its really hard reading girls' minds...
but remember:
if she doesn't appriciate you for who you are... she's not worth it

I think you ask her out. You tell her to pick day and time of date. If she bails on you, don't waste any more time on her.

Life is to short to play games. Let her know you are done playing.

Good luck. :)
