what you should do is talk with one of his friends because sooner or later he is going to realize that is a promise but i don't know how love life works out there but here it does work and i know because i did the same with my sister's friend that is now my boyfriend and we have been together for two months already and it has it's ups and downs but it will work out

Well i can understand where you r coming from!but you could make friends with someone he hangs out with then hang out with your new friend and the guy!or if you r too shy to do that you could get a friend to make friends with this guy and have the friend mention you and say alot of good things(make sure that they r saying good things)about you then the guy would be interested in meeting you!
