Instead of having the writing break you, take an intentional break yourself from writing and experience living some more to accumulate more knowledge to write with as fuel. Take a long walk to contemplate topics you've never thought of, read a novel and not a textbook, go see a symphony or a really good movie. Do anything but write, give yourself some time.

Write on your own free time one day. Meaning not for school or contests or anything else. Pick something simple and ramble about it. For example, I once wrote a piece on a rolling pin. Write whatever you want to write and practice. Even if those pieces you write on your free time come out badly, atleast you're writing again! You'll eventually get into the habit of writing. Also, I am ALWAYS encouraged to write whenever I read a good book. You feel like you want to create a world for yourself just like the author did. You tend to use some of the author's technique that you saw in the novel. This is perfectly fine as long as your not plaguarising. Nobody is 100% original. Everyone's ideas come from a collaboration of a lot of different ideas.

merry christmas baby!

Just write about something like, how excited you are about Christmas coming in 5 days. Or, write about family traditions that your family does, that may be unusual to others if they saw it. =]

Maybe write about your favorite subject @ school, or your best friend? Or a problem that you're going through everyday, and then everyday just write down something that you feel about that specific problem. I don't write, but for example, if I did. I'd write about my sister coming to visit my family in 2 days, and how excited I am because I haven't seen her in four months. =/
