Zilactin B is what I always use when I have a cold sore or fever blister (they are virtually the same thing). Just keep the Zilactin on there and it should go away in a few days, 3-6 days usally.

it will go away, but sometimes they come back. the doctor can give you this special medicine, it's like these pills. and they work so well! you take one and its gone. he gives you a whole container thing or whatever so whenever you get one you'll have some on hand to take one and yours will be gone.

The sores become covered by scabs that, typically, fall off after 8 to 10 days. The virus can spread until the sores are completely covered by scabs. Just keep using zilactin, don't touch the cold sore, or try & cover it with make up. And it'll be gone before you know it! :)
