nose piercing
i'm considering getting my nose pierced... is there anything i should keep in mind? and how bad does it hurt?

Be sure to ask around a lot about the best place to get it done. And then check the place out for yourself. It should be clean and sanitary.
When you actually get it done, make sure that everything is individually wrapped. Your artist should take out new gloves, new train liner, new needle, new ring, from sterile packs.
Remeber to keep it clean. Your artist should give you a tip sheet with how to clean it, what to use, and how often. Leave it in until it is completely healed. You should be able to tell.
It will probably hurt. It depends on your artist and your own pain tolerance. Also, since you didn't say how old you are, you might need a parent's permission. Most likely the parlor will require photo ID for both of you. If the parlor doesn't require a parent present and you are under the legal age in your state, you will probably want to find another one, since one shady practice frequently indicates other unsafe practices.
One other thing to keep in mind is that you won't be able to wear it to work at a LOT of places. I worked at McDonald's for a while and even they made me take out most of my piercings.

hurts BAD, you can also get infections in the nose and it is there forlife so if you ever take the nose ring out you will ssee a hole and there is no way to cover it up. Also its UGLY

Keep in mind the place you use and go to get your nose pierced. Focus on the places reputation for good piercing and good customer service. Also, check when it comes to having good health regulations because you don't want to get any diseases from needles that aren't thoroughly cleaned because that all can be avoided. Also if you haven't already properly informed yourself about the risks and advantages of having a ear ring, then I would definitely take the time to do so. Also, inspect the stores that you think or hear that are the best when it comes to piercings. Go and see for your self.

if you do get your nose pierced think of the things that that can happen.. like it getting infected. if u do get your nose perced then get a professinal to do it, if you are 13 or 14 or under 14 then i would say dont get your nose peirced!

I have my nose pierced and i`ve had it pierced for over two years now.. It doesn`t hurt that bad really.. I mean i think for a day or two it just feels like it is bruised.. And it might even be dicolored for a few days but thats normal..Make sure you clean it how your told and don`t change the ring right away.. ♥ Dez

I don't have my nose pierced, but I've heard pain varies for each individual. Where my one friend says it wasn't that bad, other people say it's painful. I guess it depends how tolerant you are to pain and stuff. I happen to think they're super cute and if I had the opportunity I think I would endure the pain because it's worth it. :)
