I get really nervous whenever I have to give a speech or even read outloud in class. I start shaking and sweating and i can't breathe right. Even my voice starts to shake. What can I do about this? In about a month I have to take a speech class. Are there and medicines my doctor can prescribe to help me?

Well this happens to me sometimes also..the weird thing is..I love getting up and presenting my ideas/projects..I hate it when I get nervous! But what I try to do before I get up is breathe..I mean it's not like a serious thing..I'm not like really anxious and I don't start sweating..but It's like stage fright..You eventually get over it. Maybe you're afraid of what others may think of you..well, don't be..I make lots of silly mistakes and people make fun of me about them..but I don't really care. Be confident!...It's not easy to accomplish..but I know you can do it..because if I can..anyone else can! If this shaking, sweating, and your inability to breathe correctly continues, definitely go to a doctor!--As for now, practice getting up infront of people..put on a smile..if you look nervous..people make fun of you..and I'm not saying this to be mean..but It's really kinda true.
Learn to be confident. Build up your self esteem. It helps that you know the people that you're presenting it to. Breathe before you stand up and present..Tell yourself that you will do GREAT..and guess what? In about 5 minutes, it'll all be over. [ mn731's advice column | Ask mn731 A Question ]
