what are showtights?
o.k. so i'm in my first show and i have to get show tights but i don't know what they look like, where to get them or how much they are?
p.s i'm an irish lass so any1 else who is irish i would like suggestions for cheap shops

for like dancing? they are just thicker tights that wont tear when you move in them. i dont know of any shops but i can tell you some web sites and brands. try copezio(sp?) and bloch

Tights really arent too expensive. i bought a really good calvin klein pair for $7 (but i think they were on sale) dollar stores sell them for really cheap, but they wont be best quality. other places like tjmax, filenes basement, coscos, and other bargain shops sell them cheap too :)

i dont do irish dancing but i am in my schools dance production. I think usually when they refer to show tights they mean panty hose that match your skin tone. That is what we had to wear at our show so our legs wouldn't look weird from stage lights. i'm not sure if this helps or not but hopefully it does. Good luck on your 1st show!!!
