Teza answered Wednesday December 7 2005, 11:11 pm: Since I used to live in Europe for 7 years, when I came here I was oo shy because I didn't know English, I didn't know ANYONE or anything so I basiclly had to start all over. I was shy to talk to people because I didn't want them to think bad about me. The more I got used to it, I just didn't want to be bored & I got tired of not knowing people. So once I started school, I was still shy. I wouldn't just go up to someone and just be like HEYY!!. When I started 5th grade, I kept talking to people and made new friends. I will always be a little shy at first, but if I talk to you for about 5 minutes I'll see what kind of person you are and then I'll decide on how I want to act towards them. If they seem nice, I'll be nice and I'll just start to have fun around people because that's just how I am. If you are shy now, and all of the sudden you have to have fun and become outgoing people won't think your weird or think that there is something wrong with you. No matter what you're doing, make it fun! If you have confidence in yourself no matter what the situation is you are outgoing! You shouldn't care about what people think of you. People will only say something bad if you are a really mean person or if they are jelous of you. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
