how2saute in ballet

how do you saute in ballet dont tell me jump because i dont get that! i went to a couple of sites and all they say is "jump" so that does hot help

Sautes are jumps. (sorry, I know you said not to say that)
A really basic one with not extra steps or positions should basically start from a clean fifth position, go straight up with as much elevation as possible, and come back down to the same fifth position you started in. Keep your knees locked in the air, your feet together and your upper body still. Land with your kness slightly bent in a demi plie, with your heels down (otherwise you run the risk of injury to your ankles) and don't lean forward or back.

Um..I don't think I can explain it any better, even though I dance.
