Adoption plz respond by 6:00 pm central
I have had my heart set on adopting a child for years even though I plan to have my own. My spouse on the other hand... doesnt quite agree. I told him why I wanted to and then he gave in to the idea but he absolutely refused to adopt a boy because he "wants his boy to be his own." I told him over and over that I would like him to come with me to the adoption agency so we could fall in love with a child any young age, race, or sex and he said no. He does not want a boy or a child that is not a newborn. I dont want to comprimise my life long plans.

I think you should sit down and talk with him. Tell him that he needs to understand that your the one giving him his children... I think it is a wonderful thing to do to adopt a child. Hopefully he will come a long with you! Good luck.

Well, why don't you just have a child of your own? Unless, you don't want to of course. But, you could try a website on google that shows the benfits of adopting a child- and then you could leave those randomly out and show your husband.

Maybe you should have a LONG talk with him. Maybe suggest that you guys could adopt a baby boy and then have children thats yours. But what if the child that you have is a girl? Then thats when he will have a boy to help raise. But just remember to not leave the baby *boy* out (in your Fiance's case anyway!) Hope thingz go good!! :)
