Question Posted Monday November 28 2005, 9:21 pm

ok you know those white marks under your nail?? like you can see them on it, not the part that gross out but near it, its like a white mark. you can get em anywhere on your nail i guess, it looks kindve soft. i heard its if you're dehydrated. does anyone know what it is??

thanks!!

i`ve never heard of it being from dehydration, but it also occurs when you are biting your nails and you bit your inger, or if theres a lot of pressure from something on that one spot. Idn if thats what it is for your idea, but that usually what is what it is

hope i helped

well i had a white mark just like that actually for quite a long time about 5 years ago and it just went away on its own. it didnt cause me any discomfort so it just went away by itself. doesnt sound serious so i wouldnt sweat it too much.

Actually, it's from lack of calcium.
