love143x answered Tuesday November 22 2005, 7:53 pm: there were conflicts between Abigail and Elizabeth Proctor because Abigail accused Elizabeth of trying to kill her just so she would get hanged and Abigail could go back to being with Elizabeth's husband, John. (John had an affair with Abigail previously)

..well i didnt read the whole book yet, since we're reading it in english class and we just finished ACT 2, but i'll try and think of another one.
oh yeah, well obviously the big problem is that Abigail and Mary Warren and Mercy Lewis and Betty and some other girls are lying and accusing people of witchcraft. Everybody in the town believes them, even the court, becuase they are children and they "wouldn't lie." But, if everybody would just think logically, they would find out the girls were lying and people would stop being accused and even hanged. [ love143x's advice column | Ask love143x A Question ]
