ok so i never used a tampon before and i just put one in but its kinnda sticking out a very very little is that ok or does it have to be in all the way?

If you are comfertable with it the way it is, then leave it be. It's all about your comfert level.
If you feel the urge to push it in, do so. Don't hesitate.
Just because it is sticking out, doesn't change the effect of the tampon.
