this is a tuff one..
although friends should normally come before boyfriends/girlfriends, you have asked their permission to go out with him, and they said that it was alright. you can't help what you're feeling, and if you feel this way about him, i think that you should get with him. if your friends really cared about him that much, you wouldnt tell you that it was okay for you to go out with him in the first place, and whether they meant it or not, its what they said. all you can really do is ask if its okay, and if they don't say what they mean then that's their problem and you've done all that you can do. that sounds a little harsh, but it's the truth. i know that you're trying to be a good friend and keep your friends feelings in mind, but you've done all that you can really do, so i say go for it! if it starts to interfere with you and your friend's friendship, then let me know. good luck!
<3 katie
