Has anyone here read the Goblet of Fire? I'm about to go see it. I haven't read the book for 2 years, and I need to be refreshed on some things. Why was Ludo Bagman important? Why was Barty Crouch important? Why was Crouch taking PolyJuice Potion in order to look like Moody? And lastly, why were the Death Eaters burning down the place near the beginning of the book?

He's not that important, just a suspect in the beginning. Barty Crouch is important because his son was a death eater drinking Polyjuice Potion in order to look like Moddy so he could disguise as a teacher and kill Harry Potter. The Death Eaters were burning down the place (the Quidditch World Cup) at the beginning of the book because that is what Death Eaters do, destory everything. And look to see if they can kill Harry Potter in the meantime. K? :-D [ xXMrsMcCartneyXx's advice column | Ask xXMrsMcCartneyXx A Question ]
