Ok I'm taking birth control for almost a year the first 6 months i took ortho tri cyclen then i wanted to try yasmine and that didn't work then, and then i tried orto cyclen and been on it for four months and i usually use condoms but one time last month i didn't. i'm pretty sure i'm not pregnant because i got my period when i'm supposed to and i did take a pregnancy test and it said negative but i'm scared because some people bleed every month and think there not pregnant when they are(because you can spot) so i want to make sure if there is any other way to test, or is hard to test because i'm on birth control

It is very, very rare that a girl will continue her period if she is pregnant.
Spotting is just that. A small spot of blood...very different from a period. You will know the difference.
