There is this guy that i really like, but he is my friend's brother. I like him so much, but he is in a whole different grade. He goes to church and he plays basketball. i even had a dream about him, and in it he gave me this beautiful necklace. i wish SO MUCH that it would really happen. i want him to notice me (not by me staring idiotically at him) on his own terms, but how? i see him every morning in the gym and all i can do is stare at him. what do i do?

Even if you don't why not when you do see him or notice him playing by himself ask if you can have a one on one game. If you actually like to play basketball that is. If not you're going to have to try talking to him about a subject he is very into, if not that one that he's passionate about. If you get any person talking about something they truly have feelings about, they'll talk for a while. (Gives you reason to stare.) But in all, you have to start the conversation, as stated below. Just a word of caution, being as this is your friends brother. If they don't know, I'd let them know and find out how they feel about it, that might impact your friendship with them.
