Christmas time is near!

Question Posted Tuesday November 15 2005, 7:10 pm

I know you're going to hear this question come up a lot very soon, but I decided to ask mine earlier.
Christmas is soon and I need some helpful hints on what to get my boyfriend. He's really into druming, like drumline and D.C.I stuff. He's into death cab for cutie, polyphonic spree, ben kweller.

I had an idea to do something with buttons like these [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) but I'm not sure what to do with them. If I get a bunch of them from his favorite bands, what is a CREATIVE thing I can make him along with another present? [I don't want an answer saying make a collage.]

you could get him some sexy cologne, a death cab for cutie t-shirt, [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) , and then a cd of like one of his favorite bands. if you don't like any of that, something cute would be concert tickets for the two of you to go to for one of his favorite bands!! hope i helped.

you could buy him some balloons && write each verse of the song on one.. && then on one of them.. write "i love you" or something. idk. lol. but you could also juss get him like some candy && a card.
i hope i helped!

what if you made him like a creative board thing? like a poster. get a canvas or something and cover it with a material that would go with his room or you just like. put pictures of you together and if you have any tickets from things you've gone to together (unless you want to keep them, you could always make copies haha) and stuff that means something on it..along with the buttons. i know you said not to say a collage..but this isn't quite a collage... it was the best i could come up with to use the buttons for. unless he would be into you putting them on a hat or something.

or it could be nice if you wanted to get him a shirt..stick the buttons on the shirt. maybe even get him a dcfc (or whoever) shirt.

don't hesitate to drop one in my inbox for anything else! i check all the time. =).

uhm. i kno you said no collage. but yeah. that would be ugly. i think it would be cute if you had a picture of the two of you. glue it on felt.. then cut it out in a heart shape. but leave room on the edges to put the buttons around the heart... understand?? idn. lol. i tried. ♥x0x
