I really like this guy but so did my friend!! Please Help!!

ok...I went out with this one guy for about a year and we've been broke up for a few months now and im starting to fall for his friend...well him and my bestfriend started talking but they didnt like eachother that much they talked for about a week and then he told her that he wanted to play the field awhile or whatever and now i've been talkin to him on aim and like hes really sweet and he wanted to know when we was gone hook up or whatever and he swore to me he wouldnt do me wrong and all that stuff and hes really sweet and i think im fallin for him...but my ex doesnt really approve but hes startin 2 come around but my bestfriend didnt like it at first but now shes tellin me to go for it and stuff and then she talks bad about me behind my back...im really startin 2 like him and i think he likes me(or so he says he does) but i dont want to come inbetween him and my ex and hes scared hes gone come inbetween me and my friend and its really complicatin because we like eachother and we're talkin about hooking up next week or so should i go for it or should i just tell him we should be friends?

DizzyMizzLizzie8 answered Tuesday November 15 2005, 4:51 pm: Try talking to your friend one on one invite her over sometime and just talk about everything you've heard from other people. Ask her one more time how she feels about the whole situation and tell her how you think the guy might like you. If you make one more attempt to show her you care for her feelings as well and she is still mean about it there's nothing more you can do. Then go out with this guy and start to see him and for all you know he might not work out. Hope I helped a bit and good luck! :)
