But you will need to practice often to get it down and make the sound smooth like its supposed to be.
A classic one that probably half your class will play is "Good Riddance" by Green Day. Its easy-peasy. Three different chord progressions - both during strumming and single note picking, they keep in the same order every time. It gets kind of monotonous played without also singing along, so if you don't plan on singing, I don't suggest playing this song. [ x_mystery's advice column | Ask x_mystery A Question ]

It's sooooooooo easy
or if you want a faster song with strumming, i reccomend Time of you Life (good riddance). It's easy once you get it. Good luck! [ rockergurl36's advice column | Ask rockergurl36 A Question ]

twistedsister17 answered Sunday November 13 2005, 10:27 am: I had to take a guitar exam in music class in 6th grade. This is really what got me interesting in playing acoustic and eventually electric guitar. I sugguest you google "Let it Be" by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. It is a really easy but pretty song to play and I got an A for it.
