Friend
A friend of mine is avoiding talking to me. She says that she isn't talking to anybody who needs help/advice or anyone whos going through things because she has her own stuff to deal with. So, yeah, we're having problems because I should be able to count on her but I just can't. We're both in theatre, and both doing Costumes for this next show. So basically, i'm stuck with her. Plus i've been sick and i've missed some of the crew calls. Should I just quit costumes?? I would do the show after this, but I don't feel like being on her crew. I enjoy sewing and making costumes but.....

Honestly, I think you're friend's being kind of a jerk by saying that she won't help anyone with their problems because she has her own... And I can definatly see why you wouldn't want to work with her anymore. If her behavior is something you can just brush off, I would say that you should stay on the costume crew. If you can't deal with it anymore, just quit and respect the fact that you guys need some space. It's all about what you want... because if the way she's acting is going to stress you out, don't put up with it.
