This is a hard one...but please help!!
14/f....i just started high school and have made a lot of new friends...some are popular and some are not. i hang out with the non-popular group every single day at lunch but i always have the other Popular group in the back of my mind. in my heart i know i want to hang out with the popular group not just for the guys or w/e but b/c of the people. easy right? i should hang out with the popular kids if my heart is set on it. WRONG...i kinda, sorta dont want to stop hanging out with the nonpopular kids b/c of their whole group, the guys, friends, etc...but i dont know which group..please help..thanx

Ok, if by the populars you mean teen queens, then i would definatly hang out with the nonpopulars because if you become a teen queen, you will most likely have a rep of being fashionable and hot, but some ppl will think your a biotch. you dont want that to happen do ya? But just thats my opinion. Look in your heart, see who realy are the best friends.
Only you can pick your friends.

Just think about who you enjoy hanging out with more! It shouldn't be that hard to decide. If I were you, I would hang out with the nonpopular kids, because I would feel as if I don't fit in with the popular kids. Popular people tend to think their so much better than everyone else, and their way too snobby. I can't stand that. You don't want people to think your too good for everyone else. Decide which group you would rather hang out with, but I would choose the nonpopular if I were you. I know you'll make the right decision. I hope I helped you out hun! If not, I'm so sorry. popular kids are almost never nice and caring, they like who is in their group. and well you seem to have a good group of friends, people say the grass is greener on the other side. but that isnt true.
