ok well im 14/f. and muh period skips months a lot of times. i mihgt have muh period only 3-5 times a year. the last time i had muh period was in july. IM NOT PREGNANT bcuz im still a vigin. so is it normal for my age that my period doesnt come on time? is there somethin i can do ?

Definitely. I used to be just like that. You're really lucky...periods suck. There's lots of reasons why this may happen, when you're young it's usually not very regular and sometimes if you're very active you can skip your period too. There's not much you can do about it. Going on birth control pills will sometimes regulate your period, but you're not having a serious problem with it so there's not much of a point in that. It's perfectly normal don't worry!

The first 3-4 years you get your period it will NOT come on a regular basis. Also if you are into sports ie: Cheerleading, soccer, dance, etc. it also contributes to your period being late or not coming at all.


You could take Birth Control pills to regulate your period so that it will come once a month. But of course you'd have to check with your mother on that.

yes, this is totally normal. i myself get my period once a year. however, it's not a problem if your period skips, not until your 16. if it's doing the same thing by the time you're that age, then you should go see a gynocologist, but for now, it's just puberty =)

When did you get yer period?
because if you got yer period within the past 2 or 3 years.. its normal that yer period skips months at a time.

Usually at this age it is always irregular so skipping months is completely normal.
