What is the polite thing to say to someone after they just completely messed up a relationship with a guy they really liked and are in a bad mood? i wanna show the person i care, but i know that their sensitive right now and anything i say could be taken the wrong way. please help.

the only thing you can do is say your sorry. saying sorry can't hurt, it can only help.
