Getting dizzy

Question Posted Friday October 28 2005, 12:42 pm

I've been smoking for over two years now and I've never had any problems but lately when I smoke, I get dizzy.

Does anyone know why this is?

Please don't tell me to quit smoking, I'm of legal age, I don't need a lecture. I know it's bad for you.

The toxins are starting to get to you and most likely it is affecting your brain. I would be very cautious since you may get brain cancer or some other bad illnesses of the brain. I would suggest quitting smoking, I know you probably hear that a lot but it's the best way you can stop your dizziness and you will hear it from all physicians, nurses, and doctors.

I don't get it. You say you're of age, but the info on you says fourteen. Whatever, have you started smoking more, a different kind, something like that? Are you getting short of breath? I normally smoke Camel Turkish Silvers, but if I have one of my friends home made it can make me dizzy sometimes.

Hopefully, you've told your doctor that you are a smoker and he's told you the "normal" side effects and the long term ones.

Cigarettes, as you know, contain chemicals that get absorbed in your bloodstream and your brain. The dizziness you are experiencing is PROBABLY coming from your brain in correlation with nicotine. I'm not a smoker nor a doctor, so my advice is to call in with the doctor and schedule an appointment to make sure everything is fine.

As an extra recommendation, try asking Dr Chad on this one. There's a link on my advice column or just click here: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
