Is there a way to turn the color off of my computer when I print things with a lot of color?

Thanks.

Yep, and it's called 'greyscale.'

If you're using Windows, then when you click 'print' a new window should pop up. Near the top should be a button marked 'properties.' Click this, and then click greyscale. It uses less ink and prints in black only.

there's usually a button in the print preview screen, thats whats on mine, or if you have a high end printer, they have buttons on them to do the same.

Yes. Click file, print preview, printing prefrences. There should be a tab that says color. Click on either what will say "Grayscale" or "Print with black cartridge only".
