What kind of doctor did your sister go to?. Is her hair thinning due to hair loss? Sometimes that could be due to stress. She is 18 maybe the stress of graduating high school and going to college or just starting like after high school is stressing her out. This could cause hair loss.
It could also have something to do with her scalp. She might want to try seeing a dermatologist. They also have products for hair loss for women... she might want to look into that ... that is after she has seen someone who specializes in skin care.

Of course if the hair loss is due to stress she may need to speak to a Therapist. What ever the case may be.Good luck, I hope that things get better for your sister soon.

this was caused by her dieing ehr hair sooo much. the one thing i would recomened for her to do is to go to a salon and get a hair therpy treatment done it should only cost from 10-30 dollars.. but what it doesn is gives more strngth to her hair and makes it grow more then it falls out and so it will look and get more thicker. hope this helps you out.

A really good thing to try is MOUSSE. It makes the strands of hair swell up a little and looks a little thicker. If you don't get any luck, another great thing to try is French-braiding. French braiding is perfect for thin hair.

Here's a site where you can learn how:

First of all, stop dying it. It's bad for your hair and will make it worse! I don't think any of those products work but there are somethings that will make her hair look fuller. Curling it, scrunching it, and wearing it in a messy bun and things like that. If she really wants to she can get extensions.
