Maybe you should talk to them about this next time and see what's up. Perhaps your friends might be a little jelous? Have you ever ditched them for your boyfriend. Maybe they are afraid that you won't be as close friends when you get a boyfriend. A lot of girls get caught up in the idea of keeping the perfect boyfriend. It's normal for friends to do that. They don't neccesaraly hate him, they just don't want to see you get hurt, or maybe that guy has been mean to them before. There are many things why it could be, but only they would know why. Don't worry though. Everything will be fine. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]

So, you are attracted to guys with completely different personalities than your friends. As a result, they don't like him, because he is different from them. They want you away from him, so they give you dirty looks, so you want to leave them. He is considered an "Impurity", and they want their friends to be purely the same. For every date runs the risk that you will change to be more like them.
Just some socioanalising, it may or may not be true... [ sbloemeke's advice column | Ask sbloemeke A Question ]
