Arthroscopy is more of a 'procedure' rather than surgery. It's to check for any abnormalities in your arms or legs. If you wish to know more, you can go on www.Arthroscopy.com . [ MelikoDee's advice column | Ask MelikoDee A Question ]

I looked a lot into it because my doctor thought I tore my meniscus and talked about doing that. You'll be in pain, but just a knee brace and limping for a week. My husband had the same surgery several years ago. They told him he might need to use crutches for a few days but he didn't need them.
It didn't hurt him very long. As a matter of fact he says it hurt much worse before the surgery.
He went to outpatient surgery and was home in the afternoon. He felt fine afterwards we even went out to a late lunch.
