dont keep going over it. that happend to me once. it was weird.its because u are either pressing to hard or going over too many times. use soap, with aloe and put some kind of lotion after, so it doesnt get dried up from too much shaving.

Never use soap! Try not to use it for any shaving you feel you have to do. It dries out the skin and will leave you prone to more nicks and cuts.

Never use an old blade! Blades that are dull are not your friend!

What I use is Skintimate shave gel (or foam) and either a vibrance or mach3 razor. The shave gel has special conditioners to help make the shaving a bit easier on your skin.

What I suggest is letting it go for a while. Let the cuts heal up nicely before you attempt any sort of maintenance. Once you feel you've healed enough, trim the hair *carefully* with a pair of scissors before you take a razor to it. Try not to go over the skin too many times with the razor as that tends to cause problems.

You might want to take a look at this site. It's been helpful to me in the past...

Only a month? You'll learn in time the best way to shave your vulva. Let the spot heal. Don't shave it for a while. Examine it closely, it could be an ingrown hair. If not, well. *shrugs*

And I'd seriously recommend against using soap consistently. I find soap dries everything out. When I shave my scrotum, I always used a bit of shaving cream and my mach3.
