ma best boy mate *bob* told me that he was bisexual and he also told him best male friend *fred*. ... btw he hasnt told his family because he dad is extremely (sp?) homophobic aslo fred is really homophobic, he hates bob for it but i cant see a problem. but why do i feel so heartbroken? i mean me and bob are very close friends and we talk about anything. i burst into tears. but i have a huuuge crush on fred :| and i had to tell bob. i was going to get with fred at a party on monday. i just feel so stuck in the middle, bob hates fred and never wants to speak to him again, but i like fred.

And if Fred says he's afraid Bob's going to get a crush on him or something stupid like that just because Bob likes guys, ask Fred if he crushes on every single girl he sees. When he says no, tell him that the same goes for someone who is bisexual, and that he probably isn't bob's type anyway. [ snarfism's advice column | Ask snarfism A Question ]

sillyrob answered Saturday October 15 2005, 8:01 pm: Stay with Bob. Fred is just a bigot and an asshole for ruining a friendship over something so stupid. Don't you ruin a friendship either over feelings though. You claim that Bob is your best boy mate, so you should stick by his side, not try and go after Fred. Hopefully things will end up working out between the two, but they may not. Just stick by Bob's side, that's the best thing you could do. [ sillyrob's advice column | Ask sillyrob A Question ]
