ThugGirl041790 answered Saturday October 15 2005, 6:37 pm: Yes this is normal.. sometimes your period can be heavy or light.. well because you had a heavy period this month it`ll probably not last as long and next time you might have a lighter but longer period or maybe not a period at all which also thats normal to.. it might be a while til your period is regular since you`ve recently started.. ♥ Dez [ ThugGirl041790's advice column | Ask ThugGirl041790 A Question ]
FunnyCide answered Saturday October 15 2005, 5:16 pm: Completely normal!! The second day of my period is always the heaviest - sometimes I have to go to the restroom and get a new tampon every two hours. However, I hate pads, but that's just me. I find it utterly repulsive to sit in my own blood, so I prefer tampons.
Perhaps you could use a junior sized tampon and a pad? At least at night, that way you'll not wake up with blood all over your sheets and pants and stuff. You have to remember that a junior sized tampon is really small, and won't hold much. But that's okay - for small girls, it's fantastic. (I'm a small girl - it's fantastic! Haha..)
At night, if you usually wear pants, try sleeping without them. Put an old towel on your bed and just sleep in your underwear, that way if the blood does go through, it will mostly get on the towel. You could also try using an overnight pad, which is longer and thicker. Also, you could use white sheets that way if they get blood on them, you can let them soak in bleach and no one knows that blood got on them.
You're perfectly normal. Your period is still irregular and will go through many changes yet. It'll probably slow down within the next few days. :)

celeratethetimescomeon answered Saturday October 15 2005, 5:05 pm: It's normal.... that's why they have different types of pads and tampons... light, medium, and heavy. You should put one on right before you go to bed and then if it leaks... it's still normal... just use black or white sheets so you can bleach the white.
vermillion26 answered Saturday October 15 2005, 4:52 pm: thats really normal. it just means you have a heavy flow. its different for everyone. i usually wear a tampon with a pad to bed, but some girls don't like tampons or are scared of getting tss (toxic shock syndrome) you might want to try using overnight pads if you aren't already, they're longer and thicker than normal pads. i hope you get it undercontorl, if you have anymore questions just drop them in my box.
Imdacrazy1 answered Saturday October 15 2005, 4:20 pm: yes it is normal what i would do is wear a tampon to bed
and when u wake up i would change it and put a new one in and the best thing to do is wear a pad with it incase u leak or sumtin that is what i do and i dont ever mess up anything anymore so i hoped i helped :) [ Imdacrazy1's advice column | Ask Imdacrazy1 A Question ]
