im so confused!
okay. so, i ended up getting a gentle no from a guy on my invite to an upcoming way formal dance. what he said was that he really wants to go, but he just cant afford it. what am i sopsed to do about that? since i asked him should i pay for his ticket? so, i guess u could say he likes me...right? so what do i think of that?

Of course. Offer to pay for his ticket, and say that you are doing that because you care about him that much. It's a nominal fee, I think it's $15 more in our school, and it really will work out if you try again. If he makes another excuse, though, you know it is a no.

It may hurt his feelings or ego if you offer to pay since guys are the ones who are suppose to, but you could offer to lend him some money for now if you really want him to go.
