In regards to weight and birth control, every woman is different. Most females stay at the same weight or gain a small amount of weight - it's not as common to lose weight.

Lol well personally I've never encountered any problems with BCPs but a friend of mine says it's actually made her gain weight, become moody, etc.

Actually, birth control makes alot of women gain weight.

Birth control can help with the following:
-Regulating your period
-PMS symptoms not as harsh (IE: Not as moody)
-Acne
-And of course, preventing an unwanted child.

I've never seen anyone lose weight while being on the pill. All my friends that have been on the pill will gain a few pounds. Most of it goes straight to your boobs though.
