Hey my hair right now is black with brown streaks i want to change the black to blonde and the streaks to streaks of light brown, white blonde, and blonde.

x_mystery answered Tuesday October 11 2005, 8:35 am: Personally, I wouldn't do that. Its too much stress on your hair to dye something so dark as black to blonde without full on bleaching it. You'd have to dye all of your hair, then do the diffrent streaking you want.
If you're really just dying (no pun intended) to dye your hair, then do it slowly. Maybe go blonde, and leave it for a while. Then after a couple months (yes, months, hairdye is very hard on your hair) put in the streaking.
That being said, if your hair is naturally dark like black or brown - I do not suggest dyeing your hair blonde. It will grow out, you'll get nasty roots and a lifetime of annoying touch up work. [ x_mystery's advice column | Ask x_mystery A Question ]

Your eyes are dark so I don't think dying your hair would look so good. Maybe blond hair and like black under would be cute or the other way around but i dont think you should do totally blond. Dying also messes up your hair. It dries it up and burns your roots.
