14/f ok me and my boyfriend have been going out for a few weeks now. But i am starting not to like him as much as i did before we started going out. OK i still like him but i think we should see different people. i wanna go out with someone else. Im not sure exactly how to tell him that i just wanna see different people. I mean were really close and all. But after i dump him i still want us to be friends and still have that open communication u kno. Like i wanna still be there for him and stuff.. (hes in a foster home) and he says that im the only one he can say i love you to because he doesn't have a family really. So i would feel bad dumping him. I just dont kno how to dump him without breaking his heart and i still wanna have the open communication thing. Please someone help me out i rate 5s for good answers!

I am too and that is why it is so hard for us to break up with guys we care about and who care about us. Your relationship with him is a bit more motherly (looking over him and wanting to make him happy) than romantically. Tell him what you are telling us "I think we should see other people, but I still really care about you and want to be friends."

Most guys after being dumped, dont want anything do to w/the girl anymore. If he does stay friends w/u, then hes 1 friend you will have for a long time. Let him know that youll always be there if he needs you! [ angelfire2708's advice column | Ask angelfire2708 A Question ]
