Sick

Question Posted Saturday October 8 2005, 10:33 pm

I don't mean to sound gross but I have a yellow sore in the back of my mouth were my tonsals used to be and it burns really bad. (sorry 4 the spelling) I have been brushing my teeth everyday and I have been using scope. So what could it be?!?!? I haven't got tonsals now so..... (no smarts please thanks!)

It could be an infection, even though your tonsils are gone, various types of infections can cause that in the back of your throat. Sometimes even an ear infection, because of the fact that your ear canals link into your throat. Your ears dont have to be painful to have an infection. It seems like the right area of the throat where the ear canals come in. The best thing to do is to see your doctor about it, he can tell more about whats going on. Hope eveything goes well.

Well, I seriously have no idea, but depending on how long ago they were taken out it might just be your body healing.

If it doesn't go away or start to go away in the next couple weeks, as I'm sure everyone else would suggest I think you should see a doctor.

I hope it's nothing too serious. Take care.
