How come on aim you can't warn people anymore? Like sometimes you can..but then you can't..cuz when i press the button it says "Warning of '*BLAH BLAH* ' not allowed."...how can i warn someone?! lol please help!!

Oh, as to why you can't warn them, they have to be talking to you for you to warn them. So if they're not talking much, you wont be able to warn them, or only give them a small warning. [ sillyrob's advice column | Ask sillyrob A Question ]

My conclusion: AIM is dumb, and it is my opinion that there was a ton of glitches and stupidity involved in it's creation. I've noticed it happens more when they're already on your 'Block' list. To my surprise, I was able to warn someone tonight. Of course, no higher than 20%. Isn't it lame how IF you get LUCKY ENOUGH to dish out a warning, they won't let you exceed 20% anymore?? :/ [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
russianspy1234 answered Friday October 7 2005, 12:26 am: most likely its because you are trying to warn someone who isnt using AIM to chat with you, they might be using AOL or trillian or AAIM i dont think any of those can be warned, if its specific people ask them what program they are using [ russianspy1234's advice column | Ask russianspy1234 A Question ]
