Halloween Movies

Question Posted Thursday October 6 2005, 5:33 pm

How scary is the movie Hide and Seek? See, we're thinking of watching it at my Halloween party, but I get scared VERY easily and get nightmares and stuff - basically I'm a wimp lol!! If it's really really scary, does anyone have any suggestions of movies that are good, scary but not terrifying (from a wimp's point of view lol)?
We've already seen Blair Witch Project, Signs, The Ring (what is Ring 2 like?), Sixth Sense and both Final Destinations and don't really wanna watch them again.
Thanks!!

Any "scary" movies from the 80's are great because the have all the gore and good stuff..and they are hillarious.

A few of my personal favorites..(some are kind of creepy..some not creepy at all..some are older..some are newer)
Slumber party massacre 2 (The best)
Any of the Halloween movies
Pet semetary
Friday the 13th
The exorcist
The shining
Children of the corn
Stigmata

For some reason i can't think of very many right now..but that should be good enough.

OH and..hide and seek is a pretty good movie..i didnt find it to be scary, but i havent found a movie yet that has scared me so that doesnt say much.

hey i say this...just pick any movie that seems interesting. I have a way that could help with the fears of really scary movies. When you finish the movie listen to some music that gets your mind off the movie or watch a really funny movie/t.v. show at night after the scary movie is over!! that's what i do sometimes...helps!! hope i helped!

Instead of seeing a gory movie, try a thriller with less bloody scenes or frightening images.
Check out a few mystery/murder flicks like I Know What You Did Last Summer and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, The Glass House, Takin Lives et cetera.
The Ring 2 isn't just less scary, it's downright boring. I recommend you avoid it at all costs unless you want your party to be a flop.

ok hide and seek..isnt all that scary, becuase of the twist in the end.Ring 2 is pretty scary, but after you watch it just think of when scary movie 3 made fun of the 1st ring!! XD and obviously, you know that people made it :P.hmmm...the Grudge..is sort of scary, only because its jumpy and..well its creepy,so i say if people really want to watch that, close your eyes for it!

Hide and Seek isn't scary at all. ANd im a scardey cat too lol. and theres this one part where the guy opened a box and i started screaming so loud when there was nothing in it aha. SO if you want like a movie thats really nothing, then pick that. Its still a very good movie, just not too scary. If you need any movies just leave one in my inbox :) <3
