I like this boy and I think he could grow to like me if he knew I liked him 2.Problem is I'm too afraid to find out in case it's the wrong answer.Even if he does consider it my ex(bastard)would surely steer him in the other direction not out of jealousy but out of spite .Plus he didn't go out with me for me .He just wanted somebody to kiss.Besides he used to flirt with my friend right in front of me.

Just give it a little time to let things kind of open up themselves. This way you don't have to go through with asking.
If this guy really did care about you, he wouldn't care what your ex said. He'd ignore him. What a dirty dog your ex sounds like. Glad you're not with him anymore. [ EvilCheshire's advice column | Ask EvilCheshire A Question ]

I think you should tell the boy how you feel.
Mercy_x_Me answered Tuesday October 4 2005, 1:14 pm: Well, don't give your ex the control over your life I'm sure he would LOVE to have. In other words, if you feel compelled to tell this kid you like him, crap that your ex says shouldnt matter...he should only believe what comes from your mouth. Maybe you could hang out one day with the kid you like...and just kinda drop hints, flirt e.t.c...you cant live your life being scared of what may happen, otherwise you'll be too timid to find out the things that may put a smile on your face. Life is full of letdowns and sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet and follow your heart =-D [ Mercy_x_Me's advice column | Ask Mercy_x_Me A Question ]
