cynicalladvice answered Tuesday October 4 2005, 11:43 pm: go to a doctor, clean it with hydrogen peroxide n the stuff you got to clean it with. Soak it in saline solution (salt water). Cover it up with your hair or a scarf until it goes away. [ cynicalladvice's advice column | Ask cynicalladvice A Question ]
BeastFromTheWeast answered Tuesday October 4 2005, 5:40 pm: You can't instantly make those go away. You need to do sea salt soaks for about 15 minutes twice a day, and make sure to keep it really clean.
I am pretty sure you can just get sea salt at the store, but you put a little in a cup of warm water, and just let your ear rest in the water..then after around 15 minutes pat dry it with a towel.
(I read all of the answers other people gave and none of them you should really use. You shouldnt pop it, or else it could possbily get worse, its not a medical emergency, the bumps are very common when you get your cartilage pierced, and also i don't suggest using rubbing alcohol on it.) XXXtaco answered Sunday October 2 2005, 10:08 pm: If you really want it gone, just pop it likeka pimple. It'll hurt a lot, and will very likely make matters worse. No one is going to care if you have an infection, it happens all the time. It's like having acne, no one judges you because of it. Thats like making fun of someone with white hair or for having a cut on their hand. [ XXXtaco's advice column | Ask XXXtaco A Question ]
Imperialistic answered Sunday October 2 2005, 9:40 pm: I had the same problem a few months ago. There isn't much you can do to fix it by tomorrow unless you take it off but for now, apply rubbing alcohol at least every hour and that'll bring the swelling down. If you're wearing a nickel earring, switch to medical plastic or gold in the next week. [ Imperialistic's advice column | Ask Imperialistic A Question ]
summergrl05 answered Sunday October 2 2005, 9:36 pm: i would go to the emergency room right away because my sister had the same problem and when she went, they told her that she was lucky she came because the infection was spreading. You really don't want the infection to spread all over your ear and eventually have to get it off. Im not trying to scare you but you really have to do something about it =].
Hope I helped! [ summergrl05's advice column | Ask summergrl05 A Question ]

I don't know how you could make it go away but you could cover it up by putting your hair in front of your ears.
