How much are you supposed to weigh at a certain age?

GDROB answered Friday September 30 2005, 9:15 pm: It actually has nothing really (well a small part) with age. What you are supposed to weigh is based on height of a person. Take you height and then gt onto google look up Body Mass Index. A few options on charts will come up. Click the one with the easiest to use BMI chart. You take your height and use the chart and it tells you the weight you should be.
Scroll down and hit the appropriate link for either guy or girl. You will need Adobe Acrobat reader to view the files. Its a medical chart to show where you should be and what is average or too high or too low.
For example, a good range for a 15 year old girl would be anywhere from 105 lbs to 140. Of course it does depend on height so that is also a factor. Hope that helped. [ HectorJr's advice column | Ask HectorJr A Question ]
