Well ` you could go to softball camps at universitys. Or you could go to all open gyms or practices if your school provides them. Ask an older girl who plays softball to help you out and learn new techniques and plays. You could go to a baseball field and get someone to hit you ground balls , or pop ups to get you better at catching and fielding.

Hey, the best thing that I could tell you is to train hard. You can't eat junk food for about two weeks before try-outs.You should lift 5 pound weights, do push-ups, crunches, and jog.

alright, ive been playing softball for about 11 years. its really an easy sport. basically you need to know how to throw accuratly and catch. battings important too. have a decent swing. but it all depends on position.

1st base - catching
2nd base- throwing
Shortstop - catching
3rd base - catching / throwing
Pitcher - fast, accurate pitches
Catcher - cathes, throws
*out field*
left field - catching/throwing
center field - catching/throwing
right field - catching/throwing.

ok so ive been playing for a while and recently started coaching. its basically all with throwing, catching, running, batting..

BEST OF LUCK <3333333
