I used to be the same way 13/f. and well you just have to tell yourself that you are just not going to get anywhere being shy. you only have one life to live and if you do something stupid then people are just goin to have to get over it. you should not care what other peoplke think about you. so just break loose.

try talking to people yiou don't usually tak to (say hi) and get ivovled in a social activity or join a sport or group...don't try to be someone you are not. if someone doesn't except you, then that is their fault.good luck!

well dont go for something totally outgoing that flys off the charts to prove your not shy, just take it easy and challenge your self by doing little by little outgoing things!!

make yourself talk to people. just open your mouth and say hi. Maybe your shy because youve never tried striking up conversation with people.
Hope this helps

Try to open up more and be more outgoing. Talk to more people! And don't be afraid to voice your opinion. Tell people how you feel, and be outspoken! Don't keep quiet when you have something to say! Laugh, and smile a lot! Be happy, and try to be there for people when they need you. It isn't necessarily a bad thing to be shy, but if it bothers you, just try to overcome it by doing what I sed previously. Good luck!
