help please!
Thanks so much for agreeing to help me out! Okay, the reason I didn't post this up on MUA was because its kinda personal & I don't know if anyone knows me in real life from here, but anyhow, it's about my school. I am currently attending the 3rd top private high school ($22,000 a year) in the country for the past 4 years (i'm in my freshman year, so this being my 5th..it also had a middle school + elementary school). But ever since I came here, all through the 4 years at this school, I have been miserable. Not because of the workload but because of the people. No one is friendly and it's EXTREMELY hard for me to make a few friends and its cliqie. I've tried to make more friends over & over again, but it hasn't worked. It's been like this for four years! Some people won't talk to me because of a rumor that I did something illegal and made a girl leave the school because of what I did, but it wasn't even true. They won't even believe me when I tell them it wasn't true. But the base line is that I have no friends at this school. So my problem is that my parents are having the HARDEST time deciding whether to take me out of my school or not because it's one of the best in the nation, gets ppl into ivy leagues, and yadda yadda. Also, my grades are affecting because of my loneliness at this school, I mean not that much, but still. So basically, I don't know what I should do. Move to a new school and sacrifice the benefits of the school I am currently going to, or stay here and be miserable for the rest of my high school years but most likely end up at a good college/university, or any other option that would work well. wow that is tough.Its great that your in a top private school, but if your miserable it dosent make it a school that you can enjoy. I have never been to a private school, but if your unhappy how things are going you should change it.High school is supposed to be the best years of your life, you dont want to regret anything in the future. I go to public school and it is a very nice and great high school that i got to. My chours teacher won teacher of the year in my state lol. Public school gives you alot of oppurtunittes (sorry about the spelling) you can be in alot of clubs and sports teams to make alot of friends! but bascially its whatever your choice is, yes you may or may not be in the top colleges if you switch to a different school, but if you try really hard and get good grades (also if you join a certain team or club you can get schalorships to colleges) you are capable of getting into a good college.Its your decision on what to do, do what you feel is the right choice, but if you are really unhappy about how things are going change it to make it better.
