I've liked this one guy since I was in 5th grade (i'm in 8th now) and when I first saw him I liked him immediately, kind of like love at first sight. Anyway, I let him know I liked him at the end of 6th grade and he seemed a little creeped out about it, so we never talked about it again and we were still friends. But in seventh grade he said hi to me on the first day of school and I said hi, how was your summer, etc. But he didn't talk to me for the whole year that year and when I talked to him he just shugged his shoulders and walked really fast away from me. So I didn't try to talk to him again that year. This year he's in almost all of my classes and sits beside me in 4 of them. He always talked to me this year, from the first day on. Now we talk about EVERYTHING. He's like one of my best friends. But I still like him much more than a friend. BTW, when I flirted with one of his friends this year he got really mad at me but after I stopped talking to his friend and went back to flirting and talking with him he forgave me completely. Do you think he likes me? And why do you think he didn't talk to me for that whole year? Thanks in advance.

It sounds like he likes you but he is not sure how to express himself. I'm not talking about some Indian rain dance here, just he is not sure how to act around you. Do you feel that you are dropping hints everwhere, and that he couldn't step in one even if he had RONALD MCDONALD'S feet? Are you too scared to ask him how he feels about you now? Ask a friend to ask him for you. (hint hint).
This may be a bad idea, but it may work...talk to one of his best friends, one you know he tells everything too. Then maybe you'll get some answers.
Maybe once you find out how he really feels about you, you won't have to worry so much.
