A lot of people just go on and act like they *are* living in a different time period. They dress that way, talk that way, decorate that way. If that fufills you, then go for it!

this might sounds weird but they say that if you feel that it means thats what you were in the past. and now. your here as yourself. like you were some lady named mary who died and now your you in this life. idk. its hard to explain but you can look it up on the internet i know they have alot of sites about it. just type in "psychic" stuff and stuff like that should come up.

You're never going to get to live in that time, so really you just have to accept the time you live in. If you have a special interest in it, it never hurts to research it and get into the stuff that was popular during that time.

Plus, if you think about it, the world has always had its disadvantages. People romanticize the past because they didn't live in it. Would you really want to live through the age of McCarthyism? People tend to forget about the bad stuff.

I know the feeling. I should have lived back in the pioneer days. Don't know why it was probably awful.

All teens go through a period of trying to fit in. It is perfectly normal. If you love the 50's there is nothing wrong with that. Listen to the music, use the fashions of the day to make up your own funky style. ;)
