Tattoos Does anyone know if any studies have been done regarding the harmful side-effects of tattoos?
If so, a quick summary of the results would be appreciated!
Thanks,

Well since tattoos have only been around a few weeks, I don't think anyone has studied the dangers of them yet. ]
well um since it goes into your skin after a while it reaches your blood or w.e and it can cause skin cancer or something i dont remember you cant take the ink out but you can by using laser or burning it off go on google for more info =] ]
I searched Google for your information. I think it would be more benficial to you to read it yourself instead of me summarizing it, since I don't know what, specifically, you are looking for.
This is exactly what I did. Go to Google and type in tatoo ink side effects. I found more things than I can list here, so it's probably best if you do it youself.
For example, I found [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). That is a study done by chemistry students at Northern Arizona University titled "Health Problems with the Unknown Compositions of Tattoo Inks."
If you need more after that, try searching tattoo ink dangers.
I'm sorry, I would summarize for you, but I found more information and websites with these search terms than I can list here. So try Google like I said and you will find more than you need.
Hope that helped! ]
As you know, when you get a tattoo done, they insert a needle inside your skin. That way it will never come off. The ink is squirted into the skin and it permanantly stays there.
As time goes on, your tattoo might send poisonous ink to the rest of your body, causing skin cancer. Some tests say it can cause Hepatitis A and B, and even HIV. I have no idea how that came up, but i did some research and thats what it said. ]
