Do you think you "love him"? If you think you do tell him you like him (just like him cause if you say love again it may either scare him or he won't take you seriously) and make sure he knows you are serious. Then ask him what he thinks about it (either "I like you too" or "sorry, but I only like you as a friend") Base your answer on that. now if he doesn't like you back that way just get some time apart from him so you can move on eassier.
