A regular ipod is better. I have a regular ipods. The diference between ipod minis an dipods are the difference of colors and how many songs they can hold. Ipod minis can only hold 500 songs on it regular ipods hold 5,000 songs on it. I'm only 14. Ipod shuffle is the size of a pack of gum and it only comes in whie and it holds 100 songs on it. ipod nano i don't know how many songs it holds. The regular ipod only comes in white, but they have what is called covers and they are rubber covers to cover your ipod bt you can still see the screen amd the round thing in the middle. The cases come in all different types of colors and designs. I have a case that is yellow and has pink flowers on it. You can usually get these on Ebay for cheap and they have what is called an itrip which you put on top of your ipod and you put your radio on a specific type of station i think it's 87.9 and you can listen to your ipod on the radio but you're the only perosn that can hear the songs and its cordless, but it only works on the regular ipod. i suggest you get a regular ipod.

If you do then maybe the regular is for you. But 1500 songs isnt too shabby, thats how much I can fit on my mini. And as far as buying itunes, I'm not condoning illegal downloading or anything, but yeah it happens. Very few people pay for all of there songs. And neither one is crappy so lets not name call if we dont know what we're talking about. [ bikinikilledme's advice column | Ask bikinikilledme A Question ]

GDROB answered Monday September 19 2005, 6:49 pm: Understand that people will try to sell you anything if you do not know your stuff. You need to actually research online and off about such products. Try and get a copy of Consumer Reports latest guides where they rate electronic equipment, tell you brands to buy or not. Bottom line, do not go in blind knowing nothing and same goes for your gift givers. It is exactly like trying to buy a car or a computer people are out to snow you for comission or the price.
Test what your friends have, ask if they like it, cost etc and where to buy one. Check Best Buy out. Know first of all the sales guy or girl is against you and out to make a commission. Get them talking about these Ipods and listen to what the common sales point is and differences. Write it all down.
Then, the next thing is take that info and test other retailers on it and ask the same questions you did at Best Buy. If you find a common match with a brand and item go buy it for the cheaper price. If anyone tries to push you on something back away and say "I'm just pricing them thanks." and if they presist "Thank you, Got to go I was only pricing them." and then go.
Definetly ask people who own these things questions and test them as well as go into the stores and decipher truth from lies out of sales people. [ GDROB's advice column | Ask GDROB A Question ]
